Greetings, Learning Expressions Readers!
It’s time for another Toy Fair 2013 update! Every year, Learning Express owners and Home Office staff members look forward to the annual banquet in NYC. It’s a great chance for everyone to catch up, celebrate successes, and get inspired for another great year in the toy business. For the second year in a row we all headed to the Central Park Boathouse for food, drinks, and a good time all around!
During the event store owners were recognized
and awarded for various achievements, and our buyers presented our hot new toys
for the Spring season. At the end of the evening we also got to hear from CEO
and Founder Sharon DiMinico—believe it or not this is Sharon’s 26th
Toy Fair!
Despite the late night everyone had yesterday we’ve all gathered in the hospitality suite bright and early today. This morning breakfast is provided courtesy of our friends at Melissa & Doug, and the omelet and waffle stations are proving very popular!
