Kathryn
Learning Express Home Office
Massachusetts
Kathryn joined the Learning Express team in August of 2011. After starting out her working life in a toy store at age 15, Kathryn knew the toy business was for her. After all, who wouldn’t love to spend the day demonstrating the latest in foam rocket technology or trying to figure out how to gift wrap a hula hoop? Kathryn’s career meandered away from toys for a time, and she spent some years in book marketing, university public relations, and event planning before finally coming to Learning Express – where she combines her penchant for fun with a passion for all things PR/marketing related. When not sampling the latest in educational toys, Kathryn can be found reading chick-lit, hosting tea parties, and trying to teach Lloyd (her cat) to walk on a leash.
Carly
Learning Express Home Office
Massachusetts
Carly joined the Learning Express family in June, 2010. A longtime lover of language, Carly crafts the product descriptions for the Learning Express Toys e-commerce sites. How many jump rings are in that jewelry-making kit? Exactly how many feet can you fling that Zing Ring? Those are questions for Carly. When she’s not at work making trips from the toy room to Typepad, Carly enjoys going to concerts, taking way too many iPhone pics of her model-handsome cat, Bob, and spending time with friends and family.

Neil began interning at Learning Express in July, 2012. Hoping to do more than fetch coffee after college graduation, he uses his knowledge of social media, marketing, and graphic design to help edit company publications and plan upcoming social media posts. When he’s not writing copy, he can be found fishing, reading, exploring the wilderness and fighting evil (otherwise known as mosquitoes) with his canine sidekick Mozart.
